In meeting the demands of a global world, our vision is to provide the bridge between “cyber and bricks.” This approach gives students the advantage of both traditional and online educations. Mountaineer Virtual has a range of models to assist school systems in providing their students with a virtual atmosphere.
Lincoln Interactive courses provide guided instruction and detailed examples utilizing resources that are unmatched in online instruction. Each course provides experiences in varying learning styles; including activities in web-based inquiry, Microsoft PowerPoint and video presentations, and I-text interactive materials.
Lincoln Interactive courses are to be completed as one-semester courses. Each course is comprised of four units of ten instructional lessons. In each lesson additional instructional activities and an assignment provide the necessary practice of skills. Each lesson should be accomplished in two sixty minute sessions. Frequent assessment will include four mid-unit quizzes, unit exams, and a cumulative semester assessment.
In addition to providing a rewarding, educational online experience, each Mountaineer Virtual course includes;
- A textbook and course guide, shipped directly to the school
- Student /Teacher / Parent / Administrative access to “Real Time” progress reports
- A content certified Teacher Facilitator assigned to each course
- An Instructional Supervisor assigned to each student, overseeing grades, progress and pacing
- 24 hour tech support
- Open tutoring sessions for core courses.
- 24 hour email response.
